First time divers will experience the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program, which covers the fundamental rules and guidelines of scuba diving. After this one and a half hour detailed discussion, divers will enter shallow water and practice a few basic skills. The lesson ends with a 40 minute to one hour guided tour of the dive site. Certified divers will experience the PADI Discover Local Diving program, which includes an ecological briefing, highlighted by interesting facts about endemic species found only in Hawaii. This experience can also serve as a refresher for the rusty diver or the inexperienced diver. Discover Local Diving can also cover specialty dives for the advanced diver, including lava tube dives, night dives and deep dives. We guarantee at least a 40 minute bottom time on every dive and we never mix first time divers with certified divers.
